EMMA Compliance
All EMMA units carry full CE certification and a comprehensive back to base warranty for 12 months from date of delivery. For the warranty to be valid, EMMA must have been installed by a trained installer.
We provide an extended back to base (Dublin) Warranty for EMMA for £50 per additional year.
Because EMMA uses solid state technology (no moving parts) it has a long lifetime.
Fuses
EMMA units contain internal fuse protection on the output from the thyristor. The fuses used are:
- SP14 and TP45: Ferraz Shawmut FR14GC69V50; 690 V AC GRC 50 A
- SP40 and TP120: Ferraz Shawmut FR10GB69V20; 690 V AC GRC 20 A

EMMA GVS units are fully compliant with UK Distribution Code, BS 7671 and Electricity Safety Quality and Continuity Regulation requirements.
EMMA GVS technology has been developed in collaboration with United Utilities Plc., with reference to the standards contained in EN 50160.
